Μη διαχειριζόμενος διακόπτης PLANET IGS-501T

The Unmanaged Switch PLANET IGS-501T is a slim industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch in an IP30 metal housing. It provides five 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation RJ-45 ports, supports full-duplex communication and a 2000-entry MAC address table, and is suitable for space-constrained cabinets with DIN-rail or wall mounting.

Advantages

The IGS-501T offers hardened industrial design with wide operating temperature from -40 to 75 °C and Class 1 Division 2 hazardous location certification. Its metal IP30 case and wide-range DC input (12–48 V) with support for redundant/backup power improve reliability in harsh environments. The switch also provides immunity to electromagnetic interference and electrical surges commonly found on factory floors and roadside cabinets.

Suitable for

• Industrial automation networks
• Traffic control cabinets and roadside equipment
• Factory floor Ethernet connections
• Small rack or cabinet installations with limited space

How to use

Mount the IGS-501T on a DIN rail or secure it to a wall inside a cabinet. Connect a compatible DC power source within the 12–48 V range to the power input terminals, using redundant power feeds if required for higher availability. Use Category 5/5e/6 Ethernet cables to connect devices to the five RJ-45 ports; the switch automatically negotiates speed and duplex and supports auto MDI/MDI-X so no crossover cables are needed. The device is unmanaged, so no configuration is required—connect devices and verify link/activity LEDs.

Recommendations

Install the switch in a protected enclosure when possible, maintain proper grounding, and use surge protection or redundant power feeds in electrically noisy or roadside locations to increase reliability and lifetime.
