Μη διαχειριζόμενο switch LevelOne GEP-2421W500 24-Port Gigabit PoE

The LevelOne GEP-2421W500 24-Port Gigabit PoE is an unmanaged network switch designed to deliver data and power to connected devices over standard Ethernet cables. Featuring 24 Gigabit Ethernet RJ‑45 ports with IEEE 802.3at/af support and a total PoE budget of 500W, this switch supplies up to 30W per port for compatible PoE devices while maintaining a switching capacity of 48 Gbit/s and an 8000-entry MAC address table. Housed in a black chassis and suitable for 19-inch rack mounting, the GEP-2421W500 is intended for straightforward deployment where centralized power and network connectivity are required.

Advantages

The unmanaged design simplifies setup because the switch operates without configuration, providing plug-and-play connectivity for IP phones, wireless access points and surveillance cameras. Support for IEEE 802.3at/af ensures compatibility with a wide range of PoE devices and the 500W power capacity allows multiple high-power devices to operate simultaneously. Gigabit ports and full-duplex switching improve throughput for typical business applications, and the compact, rack-mountable form factor supports tidy installation in network cabinets.

Suitable for

• Deployment of PoE IP cameras in small-to-medium surveillance systems
• Powering and connecting wireless access points in offices or retail environments
• Simple network expansion for small offices and branch locations
• Environments requiring centralized PoE power for VoIP phones and other endpoint devices

How to use

Install the switch in a rack or place it on a stable surface with adequate ventilation. Connect the switch to your network core or router using a Gigabit Ethernet uplink. Plug PoE-capable devices into the RJ‑45 ports using standard Ethernet cables; the switch will automatically detect and supply power to devices that comply with IEEE 802.3af/at. Monitor device operation via connected endpoints — no management interface is required for basic operation. Ensure the aggregate power draw of connected devices does not exceed the 500W budget to maintain stable operation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, distribute high-power devices across multiple ports to avoid exceeding the per-switch PoE budget, use quality Cat5e or higher cabling for Gigabit links and PoE delivery, and provide adequate ventilation and rack space. For installations with many high-power devices, plan power allocation and consider ambient temperature to preserve performance.
