Lanberg RSGE-24 μη διαχειριζόμενος μεταγωγέας, 24x Gigabit Ethernet, rack 19" 1U, 48 Gbps

The Lanberg RSGE-24 is an unmanaged 24-port Gigabit Ethernet switch in a 1U rack-mountable metal housing. Designed for home, business, surveillance, IP telephony and cable TV networks, it provides basic layer-2 switching with 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports, an 8000-entry MAC address table and compliance with IEEE 802.3 standards. The unit includes mounting ears for 19" cabinets and is suitable for installations where simple, reliable Gigabit connectivity is required.

Advantages

The switch offers plug-and-play operation without configuration, full Gigabit speed on all 24 ports, a compact 1U housing for rack installation and integrated protections such as 2 kV ESD on all ports. It also includes physical features that extend its practical use: a dedicated extend mode to reach up to 250 m on a single cable for low-speed links and a port-isolation (VLAN) hardware option to separate standard ports from uplinks.

Suitable for

• Small and medium office networks
• Surveillance and IP camera systems
• VoIP and IP telephony deployments
• Cable TV distribution and low-voltage networks
• Rack-mounted installations in server rooms

How to use

Install the RSGE-24 in a 19" rack using the supplied mounting ears or place it on a stable surface. Connect Ethernet devices to the RJ-45 ports; the switch is unmanaged so no software configuration is required for basic switching. To enable long-distance low-speed links, set the physical switch on the housing to "Extend 250 m"; to isolate edge ports from each other while allowing traffic to pass to uplink ports, set the housing switch to "VLAN". Provide appropriate power and ensure network cabling follows standards to achieve reliable Gigabit performance.

Recommendations

Use the Extend 250 m mode only for devices that operate at reduced speeds (up to 10 Mbps) and when higher-speed links are not required. Enable the VLAN port-isolation option in installations where device separation enhances security, such as surveillance, access control or alarm systems. Ensure proper grounding and surge protection for outdoor or long-distance deployments despite the built-in 2 kV ESD protection.
