Καλώδιο BTR NETCOM M12 5m

The BTR NETCOM M12 5m cable is a shielded Cat.5e M12 Ethernet connection line designed to IEC 61076-2-101 (D-coded). With a straight M12 connector and extrusion-coated cable ends, this 5‑meter cable provides a robust connection for industrial Ethernet deployments including Profinet (WS-GE-BL-OR) wiring. The cable features a green PUR jacket and construction optimized for signal integrity and mechanical protection.

Advantages

Shielding includes an aluminum-coated plastic foil and an overall tinned copper braid with approximately 85% coverage to reduce electromagnetic interference. The conductor assembly uses 2x2xAWG22 (0.75 mm) stranded wire with plastic foil and an inner FRNC sheath, offering a balance of flexibility and electrical performance. Extrusion-coated M12 connectors improve sealing and strain relief for reliable connections in industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Industrial Ethernet and Profinet networks
• Automation and control systems
• Applications requiring D‑coded M12 Cat.5e connections
• Environments needing enhanced EMI protection

Key specifications

• Connector type: M12, D-coded, straight
• Standard: IEC 61076-2-101
• Category: Cat.5e
• Length: 5 m
• Conductor: 2x2xAWG22 (0.75 mm) stranded
• Inner sheath: FRNC with aluminum-coated plastic foil
• Overall shield: tinned copper braid, ≈85% coverage
• Cable jacket: green PUR
• Wiring: Profinet (WS-GE-BL-OR)

How to use

Connect the straight D‑coded M12 connectors to compatible M12 ports on devices or switches following the Profinet wiring scheme. Ensure connectors are fully seated and, if applicable, tightened to the manufacturer’s recommended torque. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress; observe installation practices for shield termination to maintain grounding and EMI performance.

Recommendations

For best performance in industrial installations, terminate the cable shield to chassis ground at one end and avoid creating ground loops. Use appropriate strain relief and follow device manufacturer torque specifications for M12 connectors. Verify compatibility with connected equipment regarding Profinet wiring and D‑coded M12 requirements.
