METZ BTR 150N1CO0020E OpDAT Pigtail SC-PC OM4 12 Χρώματα 2,0m Πολύτροπη Ίνα G50/125

For data centre technicians terminating high-density fibre optic panels, the METZ BTR 150N1CO0020E OpDAT Pigtail delivers twelve OM4 multimode fibres, each 2.0 metres long and colour-coded for quick identification. Pre-terminated with SC-PC connectors on one end, this pigtail simplifies splicing into backbone or horizontal cabling systems where 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet performance is required.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connector: SC-PC (Physical Contact polish)
• Number of fibres: 12, each with 0.9 mm tight buffer
• Length: 2.0 m per fibre
• Colour coding: 12 colours according to DIN VDE 0888
• Supported wavelengths: 850 nm and 1300 nm
• Maximum data rate: 100 Gbps at 850 nm (up to 100 m for 100GBASE-SR4)
• Application environment: Indoor
• Standards compliance: IEC 60793-2-10 Type A1a.3 (OM4)

Why choose it

The OM4 grade fibre ensures low attenuation and high bandwidth, making it suitable for short-reach, high-speed links in modern data centres. The 12-colour coding aligns with industry standards, reducing installation errors during splicing. SC-PC connectors offer reliable, low-loss connections and are widely compatible with existing patch panels and cassettes.

Ideal use cases

• Terminating fibre optic distribution frames in data centres
• Creating custom-length patch cords by splicing to trunk cables
• Upgrading legacy multimode systems to support 40/100G Ethernet
• Indoor fibre installations in enterprise networks

Good to know

Each fibre has a 0.9 mm tight buffer, providing flexibility for routing in tight spaces. The pigtails are supplied in a fan-out format, allowing individual fibres to be separated for splicing. No additional connectors are required on the pigtail end; simply splice the bare fibre to your backbone cable.
