Μετατροπέας Low Noise Block downconverter Schwaiger SPS6988 531

The Schwaiger SPS6988 531 Low Noise Block downconverter is a compact satellite LNB designed for receiving and converting satellite microwave signals to lower-frequency signals suitable for home receivers. The unit has a grey housing and an F-type RF connector, and it operates with low power consumption of 220 mA. Its low-noise design reduces signal interference and helps maintain stable reception quality for DVB-S and similar satellite services.

Advantages

The LNB delivers efficient frequency conversion with reduced noise figure to support clearer signal reception. Its low power consumption reduces load on the satellite receiver and power supply. The F-type RF connector provides a secure, widely compatible connection to coaxial cables and satellite tuners. A compact grey housing facilitates discreet installation on most satellite dishes while offering weather-resistant protection for outdoor use.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Receiving DVB-S and DVB-S2 satellite television signals
• Connecting to single-tuner satellite receivers or set-top boxes
• Replacement of a single-output LNB on home satellite dishes
• Use in small private installations where low power draw is preferred

Key specifications

• Housing color: grey
• Connector type: F-type (RF)
• Power consumption: 220 mA
• Function: Low Noise Block downconverter for satellite reception

How to use

Mount the LNB securely on the feed arm of the satellite dish so the feed horn aligns with the dish focal point. Connect a coaxial cable with an F-type connector between the LNB and the satellite receiver or set-top box. Ensure the receiver provides the required supply voltage via the coaxial cable; the LNB will draw approximately 220 mA during operation. Perform satellite dish alignment and receiver tuning according to the receiver's instructions to lock onto the desired transponders and channels.

Recommendations

Position the LNB to avoid water pooling and ensure the housing faces downward where possible. Use quality, properly shielded coaxial cable and compression F-connectors to minimize signal loss. If reception quality is marginal, verify dish alignment and check cable and connector integrity before replacing components.
