Μεταγωγέας 5 Θυρών Gigabit Ethernet LevelOne GSW-0507

The LevelOne GSW-0507 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch provides five Gigabit RJ-45 ports in a compact, wall- or desktop-mountable housing. This unmanaged switch delivers wire-speed forwarding with a non-blocking switching fabric and store-and-forward operation, supporting reliable data transfer up to 1000 Mbps per port and features Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) to reduce power consumption.

Advantages

The GSW-0507 offers simple plug-and-play installation with auto-negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDIX for broad device compatibility. It supports 8K MAC address learning and 9K jumbo frames to improve throughput for large transfers, while IEEE 802.3x flow control helps prevent packet loss. Its compact design and wall-mount option make it suitable for small office and home deployments, and the IEEE 802.3az support lowers operational power usage.

Suitable for

• Home networking and SOHO (small office/home office) expansion
• Connecting PCs, NAS, printers and multimedia devices
• Low-latency requirements such as online gaming and multimedia streaming

How to use

Place the switch on a flat surface or mount it on the wall using the supplied mounting points. Connect network devices to the RJ-45 ports with standard Ethernet cables. The switch is plug-and-play: power it on and devices will be auto-detected, with ports negotiating link speed and duplex automatically. No configuration is required for basic network expansion.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables and place the switch in a ventilated area to avoid overheating. To reduce power consumption, connect shorter cable runs where possible so the Energy Efficient Ethernet feature can lower link power. Regularly check connected devices and cabling to maintain reliable connections.
