Marmitek Connect ARC13 – HDMI-Audio-Extractor – ARC – CEC

The Marmitek Connect ARC13 Grey (25008431) is an HDMI ARC adapter that extracts audio from the HDMI ARC port of your TV and provides analogue and digital outputs for connection to external audio equipment. The compact, grey unit is USB-powered and includes an HDMI cable, RCA cable and USB power cable to simplify installation. A 3.5 mm analogue output allows direct connection of headphones while the unit also supports connection to amplifiers or powered speakers that lack HDMI ARC.

Advantages

The Marmitek Connect ARC13 extracts the audio signal from your TV's HDMI ARC, making it possible to use powered speakers or amplifiers without native HDMI ARC inputs. It enables headphone connection via the 3.5 mm output and supports use with existing TV remotes through HDMI CEC volume control. Its small, USB-powered design makes it easy to hide behind the TV and the package contains the necessary HDMI, RCA and USB power cables.

How to use

Connect the HDMI cable from the TV's HDMI ARC port to the Marmitek Connect ARC13 input, then connect your amplifier, powered speakers or headphones to the adapter's analogue (3.5 mm) or RCA outputs. Plug the included USB cable into a USB power source such as a USB port on the TV or a USB power adapter. If your TV supports HDMI CEC, you can control volume with the TV remote once the adapter is connected.

Recommendations

Place the compact ARC13 behind the TV and use the TV's USB port for power when possible. For best results, enable HDMI ARC and HDMI CEC (sometimes labelled Anynet+, Bravia Sync, Simplink, etc.) in the TV settings and use the included cables to ensure correct connectivity.
