Managed Switch Cudy GS2024S2 L2/L3 Gigabit Ethernet 24 Θύρες 1U

The Cudy GS2024S2 Managed Switch is a rack-mountable 1U L2/L3 solution designed for small to medium business networks and branch environments. It provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) RJ-45 ports alongside 4 SFP slots for fiber uplinks, supporting common IEEE networking standards. With a switching capacity of 20 Gbit/s and a compact 1U form factor, this black metal switch is intended to deliver predictable performance, flexible port options and centralized management in standard server racks.

Advantages

The switch combines Layer 2 and limited Layer 3 capabilities to enable VLAN segmentation, traffic control and basic routing within a local network. Twenty-four gigabit copper ports cover high-density access needs while four SFP slots allow fiber interconnects or longer distance uplinks. Its managed feature set supports configuration and monitoring for efficient network operations, and the 1U rack design simplifies installation in equipment cabinets.

Suitable for

• Office networks requiring multiple Gigabit ports and VLAN segmentation
• Server rooms and rack cabinets with limited vertical space (1U)
• Branch offices that need fiber uplinks to a core switch or ISP
• Networks that require managed switching for traffic control and monitoring

Key specifications

How to use

Install the GS2024S2 into a standard 19-inch equipment rack occupying a single unit of height. Connect edge devices to the 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and attach fiber uplinks in the SFP slots as needed. Use the switch's management interface to configure VLANs, link aggregation, QoS and any Layer 3 routing features supported by the device. Monitor port status, traffic statistics and error counters through the management tools to maintain predictable network behavior.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated rack space and ensure proper grounding. For optimal performance, connect critical servers and uplinks to gigabit ports or SFP fiber modules, enable VLANs to segment traffic, and configure QoS policies for latency-sensitive services. Back up the configuration after changes and monitor port utilization to plan capacity upgrades.
