• Hobby electronics, model building and custom lighting projects

Key specifications

• Light colour: red
• Rated lifetime: 200,000 hours
• Form factor: LED strip
• Intended use: accent and indicator lighting
• Power profile: low power consumption typical of LED technology

How to use

Mount the LED strip on a clean, dry surface where the red accent light is required. Ensure the mounting area allows for proper routing of power leads and does not obstruct ventilation if installed inside electronic equipment. Connect the strip to a compatible low-voltage LED power source or controller following the manufacturer’s wiring polarity. Avoid exposing the strip to moisture or excessive heat to preserve the rated lifetime.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use a regulated LED driver or a compatible controller that matches the strip's voltage and current requirements. When installing inside a PC case, position the strip away from moving parts and ensure cable management prevents contact with fans. For signage or display use, test illumination at the intended viewing distance to confirm the red tone and intensity meet visual requirements.
