Lexmark Αισθητήρας γεμάτου δοχείου στενών μέσων 40X8050 – Αισθητήρας δοχείου μέσων για εκτυπωτή

The Lexmark Sensor Narrow Media Bin Full 40X8050 is a replacement media bin sensor designed to detect when a narrow media or bin tray is full in compatible Lexmark printers. It monitors media level and sends a signal to the printer control system when capacity is reached, helping to maintain consistent paper handling and support reliable operation during office or production printing tasks.

Advantages

This sensor provides precise detection of a full narrow media bin, reducing the risk of paper jams and misfeeds by alerting the printer promptly. As a direct replacement part for compatible Lexmark devices, it supports straightforward installation during maintenance and repair. The component is built to meet the original functional requirements for consistent interaction with the printer's paper-handling controls.

Key specifications

• Function: narrow media/bin full detection sensor
• Compatibility: designed for use in compatible Lexmark printers requiring a narrow media bin full sensor
• Mounting: replacement part intended for internal installation in the media bin area
• Signal type: sensor output compatible with printer control electronics (digital detection)
• Purpose: ensures reliable paper handling by indicating full bin status

How to use

Install the sensor by powering down the printer, opening the access panel to the media bin area, and replacing the existing sensor with the new unit following the manufacturer's service instructions. Ensure connections are secure and the sensor is positioned as required for proper detection of media level. After installation, power the printer on and run any recommended diagnostics or calibration routines so the control system recognises the replacement sensor and resumes normal monitoring of the narrow media bin.

Recommendations

Use this replacement sensor as part of scheduled maintenance or when diagnostics indicate a faulty bin-full detection to minimise printing interruptions. Handle the component carefully, avoid contact with electronic connectors, and follow static-discharge precautions during installation. If uncertainty exists about compatibility or installation steps, consult the printer service manual or a qualified technician.
