LevelOne N300 5GHz εξωτερικό PoE ασύρματο access point, διαχείριση από controller

The LevelOne N300 Wireless Access Point (WAB-5010) is a managed outdoor single‑band device operating on the 5 GHz band with a maximum wireless data rate of 300 Mbit/s. Designed for controller‑managed deployments, it integrates Power over Ethernet (PoE) support and an IP65‑rated weatherproof enclosure for reliable outdoor installation. The access point supports multiple wireless security algorithms and offers flexible operation modes and up to four SSIDs to separate traffic and improve network organization.

Advantages

This managed outdoor access point delivers up to 300 Mbit/s on 5 GHz while remaining compact and easy to install thanks to PoE support, eliminating the need for a local power outlet. The IP65 weatherproof housing protects against rain, dust and harsh environmental conditions, enabling stable outdoor operation. Management via a compatible Wireless LAN Controller allows centralized configuration and monitoring for multi‑site deployments. The device supports several encryption standards and WPS for convenient security setup.

Suitable for

• Outdoor wireless coverage for public areas, parks and campuses
• Managed networks controlled by a LevelOne WAC series Wireless LAN Controller
• Point‑to‑multipoint or access scenarios requiring 5 GHz band operation
• Installations where PoE simplifies cabling and power delivery

How to use

Mount the access point in a suitable outdoor location with adequate coverage of the desired service area and connect it to a PoE injector or PoE switch using a Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable. Integrate the device into your managed network by adding it to a compatible LevelOne Wireless LAN Controller for centralized configuration, SSID provisioning and security policy application. Configure SSIDs (up to four) and select encryption methods appropriate for your network. Ensure the antenna orientation and placement minimize obstructions and maximize line of sight for best 5 GHz performance.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, install the access point at an elevated, sheltered position free from heavy foliage and reflective surfaces. Use PoE equipment that meets IEEE 802.3af/at standards to ensure stable power delivery. When deploying multiple units, use the controller to assign non‑overlapping channels and separate SSIDs for guest and private networks to optimize performance and security.
