The Akasa Euler CTX Fanless Mini-Case Thin Mini-ITX in black is a compact, passively cooled chassis engineered for Thin Mini-ITX motherboards. Its solid aluminium construction and convection-optimized design enable silent operation without active fans. The slim profile and understated black finish make it suitable for space-constrained environments where low noise and reliability are priorities. The case provides straightforward access for installing a Thin Mini-ITX board and supports common storage configurations while maintaining efficient heat dissipation for low-power systems.

Advantages

This fanless mini-case offers fully passive cooling that eliminates moving parts and reduces maintenance. Its compact footprint saves desk and shelf space while the aluminium body acts as a heatsink to dissipate CPU and system heat effectively. The black finish delivers a discreet, professional look suitable for home, office, or embedded applications. Tool-friendly access simplifies assembly and upgrades, and the chassis supports multiple storage options for flexible system design.

Suitable for

• Quiet home theater PCs and media centers
• Office workstations requiring silent operation
• Compact embedded systems and kiosks
• Network appliances and low-power servers

Key specifications

• Form factor: Thin Mini-ITX compatible
• Cooling: Passive (fanless) convection design
• Material: Aluminium chassis optimized for heat dissipation
• Colour: Black
• Drive support: Space for 2.5" storage devices and/or slim optical modules where applicable
• Expansion: Low-profile I/O access for Thin Mini-ITX connectors
• External footprint: Slim, space-saving dimensions suitable for small desks and cabinets

How to use

Install a compatible Thin Mini-ITX motherboard following the chassis mounting points, connect storage devices compatible with the available bays, and route cables to maintain unobstructed airflow through the aluminium body. Use low-power, thermally suitable processors and components to match the passive cooling capacity. Position the case vertically or horizontally with at least a few centimetres of clearance around the chassis to allow natural convection. Verify all I/O connectors are accessible from the rear panel before finalizing installation.

Recommendations

For reliable passive operation, pair the case with low-TDP components and avoid placing it in fully enclosed, poorly ventilated cabinets. Regularly inspect external vents and the chassis surface for dust accumulation and clean with a soft cloth or compressed air as needed to maintain thermal performance.
