Κουτί τερματισμού οπτικών ινών Extralink POLA 16 ινών, θήκη ABS, μαύρο

Extralink POLA 16-core fiber optic terminal box is designed to organize and protect fiber terminations and splices in indoor or sheltered outdoor installations. The unit accommodates up to 16 fibers within a durable black ABS housing and provides mechanical protection, cable routing and a commutation field for mounting SC simplex or LC duplex adapters. The enclosure includes cascade-mounted fiber trays and adjustable cable entry points for trunk and drop cables.

Advantages

The ABS housing provides impact resistance and a weather-resilient surface suitable for sheltered outdoor and indoor telecom environments. The design supports neat fiber management with cascade trays and a dedicated commutation area, enabling secure placement of adapters. Adjustable entry openings accept multiple trunk cables while sealed gland points for drop cables allow repositioning of finished cables with connectors. Lockable clamps and Allen screws enhance physical security and maintain closure integrity.

How to use

Mount the Extralink POLA box on a suitable flat surface inside or under a sheltered location. Route trunk cables through the adjustable entry openings and secure them as required. Lay fibers into the cascade-mounted trays, perform splicing or install adapters in the commutation field, and secure drop cables through the gland-sealed outlets. Close the enclosure using the circumferential clamps and Allen screws to ensure a stable, locked fit. Follow standard fiber handling and safety procedures to avoid bending or contaminating fiber ends.

Recommendations

Use appropriate strain relief for trunk and drop cables and maintain minimum bending radii for fibers when routing into trays. Install SC or LC adapters only in the designated commutation field and protect connector endfaces with dust caps until final connection. For outdoor-exposed sites, place the unit in a sheltered location to reduce direct weather exposure and check seals periodically for integrity.
