Κεραία Ubiquiti airMAX ac 2x2 22 dBi

The Ubiquiti airMAX ac 2x2 22 dBi sector antenna (model AM-5AC22-45) is a carrier-class outdoor antenna designed for Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) airMAX networks. It provides 22 dBi gain, dual polarization, and operates in the 5.1–5.8 GHz band with a horizontal beamwidth of 45°. The antenna includes a built-in Rocket™ mount for tool-free installation and a compact, weather-ready mechanical design suitable for wall or pole mounting.

Advantages

The antenna delivers improved beam performance and reduced sidelobes/backlobes for superior noise immunity in co‑located deployments. Its 2x2 dual-polarity design and low VSWR (1.5:1) support efficient throughput with Rocket™5ac radios. Industrial-strength construction and an integrated Rocket mount simplify deployment and increase reliability in outdoor environments.

Suitable for

• Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) base stations using Rocket™5ac
• Outdoor deployments requiring high gain and interference rejection
• Co‑location sites where reduced sidelobes are important
• Wall or pole mounting for last‑mile connectivity

Key specifications

• Model: AM-5AC22-45
• Antenna gain: 22 dBi
• Frequency band: 5.1–5.8 GHz
• Polarization: 2x2 dual-polarity
• Horizontal beamwidth: 45°
• VSWR: 1.5:1
• Dimensions (W×D×H): 215 × 94 × 750 mm

How to use

Mount the antenna on a suitable wall or pole at the planned base station location. Install a Rocket™5ac (recommended for optimal performance) into the integrated Rocket mount following the radio manufacturer’s instructions. Orient the antenna so the 45° horizontal beam covers the intended subscriber area and align polarization to match client devices. Complete RF and network configuration on the Rocket™5ac and verify link quality and throughput.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the AM-5AC22-45 with a Rocket™5ac radio, ensure clear line-of-sight to subscriber sectors, and site the antenna to minimize nearby reflective surfaces and sources of interference.
