Κάρτα PCI Express x1 DeLOCK RTL8125 2.5 Gigabit LAN PoE+

The Delock PCI Express card provides one RJ45 network port supporting NBASE-T speeds up to 2.5 Gbps and Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) according to IEEE 802.3af/at, enabling data and power transmission over a single network cable. It is intended for installation in a PCI Express x1 slot to add high-speed wired connectivity to a desktop system.

Advantages

The card supports NBASE-T automatic negotiation for 1 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps operation on conventional copper cabling, allowing higher throughput without replacing existing network infrastructure. The integrated PoE/PoE+ capability supplies power to compatible devices such as IP cameras or PoE splitters via the RJ45 connection. The compact PCIe x1 form factor fits standard motherboard slots and uses the Realtek RTL8125 family chipset for reliable wired performance.

How to use

Power off the computer and insert the card into an available PCI Express x1 slot on the motherboard. Secure the card to the chassis, connect a compatible Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port, and, if applicable, connect a PoE-enabled device to be powered via the same cable. Boot the system and install the appropriate driver if the operating system does not automatically recognise the adapter.

Recommendations

For optimal performance use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cabling for 2.5 Gbps links and verify that connected devices support PoE/PoE+ within the respective power class. Ensure the host system provides an available PCIe x1 slot and the operating system has the correct driver for the Realtek-based adapter.
