Κάρτα δικτύου Trendnet TEG-25GECTX εσωτερική Ethernet 2500 Mbit/s

The TRENDnet TEG-25GECTX is an internal 2.5GBASE-T PCIe network adapter that converts an available PCI Express slot into a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port. Designed for desktop computers, this wired Ethernet card supports standard and low-profile brackets and is compatible with Windows, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems. The adapter supports multiple link speeds and includes LED indicators to show port status, link speed, and activity.

Advantages

The network card supports 2.5Gbps, 1Gbps and 100Mbps operation, enabling faster wired connectivity over existing Cat5e cabling up to 100 m. It offers jumbo frame support (up to 9 KB) for improved throughput on large transfers and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging for network segmentation. The adapter fits PCIe 2.0 x1 slots and ships with both full-height and low-profile brackets for flexible installation.

Suitable for

• Upgrading a desktop PC to 2.5G wired Ethernet
• High-bandwidth tasks such as gaming and 4K streaming
• File transfers and data-intensive applications on Windows or Linux systems

How to use

Power off the PC and open the case. Insert the TEG-25GECTX into an available PCIe x1 slot (or larger slot) and secure it with the appropriate bracket for your chassis. Close the case and connect a Cat5e or better Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port. Boot the system and install drivers if required by your operating system. Verify link speed and activity via the adapter LEDs and the OS network settings.

Recommendations

For optimal 2.5G performance use Cat5e or higher cabling and ensure the remote switch or router supports 2.5GBASE-T. Enable jumbo frames and configure VLAN tagging only if your network infrastructure and applications require these features. Keep drivers up to date for best compatibility with Windows or Linux systems.
