Κάρτα δικτύου INTEL NIC E830XXVDA2OC3 έως 25Gb, 2 x SFP28 Ports

INTEL NIC E830XXVDA2OC3 is a PCIe network interface card designed for servers and high-performance workstations, supporting up to 25Gb throughput per port. The card features two SFP28 ports for fiber or direct-attach copper modules, enabling low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity for virtualization, storage traffic and demanding network environments. It is intended as an upgrade path to 25Gb links in data centers and enterprise networks where higher link speeds and reliable throughput are required.

Advantages

The dual SFP28 ports provide flexible physical connectivity options and redundancy while maintaining 25Gb performance. Built on Intel networking technology, the card offers hardware offloads and optimized packet processing to reduce CPU utilization in virtualized and storage-heavy workloads. Its PCIe interface ensures compatibility with standard server slots and supports high data transfer rates. The design emphasizes predictable throughput and low latency for enterprise applications and data center deployments.

Suitable for

• Upgrading server or workstation network links to 25Gb
• High-performance virtualization hosts and hyperconverged infrastructure
• Storage networks and SAN connectivity with high throughput requirements
• Data center top-of-rack or aggregation layer where 25Gb links are needed
• Low-latency applications such as trading platforms or real-time analytics

Key specifications

• Interface: PCIe (x8/x16 compatible slot bandwidth dependent)
• Port type: 2 × SFP28 ports
• Maximum per-port throughput: up to 25 Gbps
• Form factor: Low-profile/full-height bracket compatible (subject to model configuration)
• Supported link modes: 25Gb, 10Gb, 1Gb (dependent on transceiver/module used)
• Typical use: Server/network adapter for data center and enterprise networking

How to use

Install the INTEL NIC E830XXVDA2OC3 into an available PCIe slot on a powered-down server or workstation, securing the bracket to the chassis and fitting a compatible SFP28 transceiver or DAC cable into each port. After physical installation, power on the system and install the appropriate Intel drivers or use the operating system's built-in network drivers to enable the adapter. Configure the network settings (link speed, MTU, VLANs, bonding/teaming) in the host operating system or hypervisor according to the network design and requirements. Verify link status and throughput using system tools or management interfaces.

Recommendations

Use certified SFP28 transceivers or DACs to ensure full 25Gb performance and compatibility. For virtualization and storage environments, enable available hardware offloads and adjust MTU for jumbo frames where supported to improve throughput and reduce CPU overhead. Verify server BIOS and PCIe slot bandwidth to ensure the adapter operates at intended performance levels.
