Κάρτα διασύνδεσης Inter-Tech KT001B

The Inter-Tech KT001B is an internal SATA interface card that converts an M.2 host connection into a SATA output, enabling the connection of SATA storage devices via an M.2 slot. Supporting SATA III transfer speeds up to 6 Gbit/s, the card provides a compact solution for adding or adapting storage options in desktop systems and small form-factor builds. Its physical dimensions of 101 mm × 130 mm × 25 mm make it suitable for installations where space is limited.

Advantages

The Inter-Tech KT001B offers straightforward compatibility with common operating systems and supports full SATA III bandwidth for connected devices. Its small footprint simplifies integration into a variety of chassis types while the M.2 host interface provides a direct connection to modern motherboards. The design minimizes additional cabling and helps maintain tidy internal layouts.

Key specifications

• Interface type: M.2 host to SATA output
• Supported transfer rate: up to 6 Gbit/s (SATA III)
• Form factor (approx.): 101 mm (W) × 130 mm (D) × 25 mm (H)
• Supported device type: SATA storage drives (2.5" SSD/HDD)
• Compatibility: major Windows and macOS versions (driverless or standard driver support depending on OS)

How to use

Install the Inter-Tech KT001B into an available M.2 slot on the motherboard following the system and motherboard manufacturer's instructions for M.2 modules. Secure the card in the slot and route any necessary SATA device connectors to the SATA output provided by the card. After installation, power on the system and check the BIOS/UEFI to confirm the card and attached drive are detected. If required by the operating system, initialize and format the new drive in disk management utilities before use.

Recommendations

Ensure the M.2 slot on your motherboard supports the required host interface and form factor before installation. Use appropriate mounting hardware and avoid excessive force when seating the card. Keep firmware and system drivers up to date for optimal compatibility and performance.
