Κάμερα παρακολούθησης Hikvision DS-2CD1121G2-LIU 2,8 mm PL

The Hikvision DS-2CD1121G2-LIU 2.8mm PL is a compact 2MP surveillance camera designed for reliable image capture in a variety of monitoring scenarios. Equipped with a 2.8mm fixed lens, this camera delivers a broad field of view suitable for general indoor and outdoor coverage. It uses H.265+ video compression to reduce storage requirements and bandwidth while maintaining image clarity. The camera also incorporates wide dynamic range (WDR) and infrared night vision to handle challenging lighting conditions and low-light environments. With an IP67 rating, the housing is protected against dust and temporary immersion, making the unit suitable for exposed installations.

Advantages

The camera offers efficient H.265+ compression that optimises storage and network use without sacrificing essential detail. Its 2MP resolution provides clear identification of subjects at typical surveillance distances, and the 2.8mm lens provides a wide coverage area for general-purpose monitoring. WDR improves image balance in scenes with mixed bright and dark areas, while built-in infrared illumination extends monitoring capability after dark. The IP67-rated enclosure ensures durability in adverse weather and dusty environments, and the compact form factor allows discreet installation in a range of locations.

Suitable for

• Indoor monitoring of offices, retail spaces and corridors
• Outdoor coverage of entrances, small parking areas and walkways
• Perimeter surveillance where a wide field of view is required
• Sites requiring continuous recording with efficient storage usage

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 2 megapixels (Full HD)
• Lens: 2.8 mm fixed focal length for wide-angle coverage
• Video compression: H.265+ (with backward support for H.264)
• Low-light performance: infrared night vision for monitoring in darkness
• Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for balanced exposure in high-contrast scenes
• Ingress protection: IP67-rated housing for dust and water resistance
• Form factor: compact dome/bullet-style suitable for discreet installation

How to use

Mount the camera in a stable position that provides the intended field of view and protects the lens from direct glare. Connect the unit to power and network following the manufacturer's installation guidelines and configure basic network settings via the camera's web interface or a compatible NVR. Adjust image settings such as exposure, WDR level and IR mode to match the lighting conditions at the site. Verify recording and remote access functionality, and set up motion or event-triggered recordings if required for efficient monitoring.

Recommendations

For best results, position the camera to minimise direct sunlight or strong backlighting; use WDR when monitoring scenes with mixed lighting. Regularly clean the housing and lens surface to maintain image clarity, and verify seals after installation in exposed locations to preserve the IP67 rating. Combine with an NVR that supports H.265+ to maximise storage efficiency and enable longer retention periods.
