Κάλυμμα θήκης δίσκου Icy Dock MB602SPO-B

The ICY DOCK ToughArmor MB602SPO-B is a full-metal 5.25" drive bay panel that combines two hot-swap 2.5" drive trays (supporting SSDs and HDDs up to 15 mm) with one Slim/Ultra-Slim optical disk drive bay (supports 12.7 mm and 9.5 mm ODD). Designed for industrial and commercial systems, the enclosure provides robust protection, active cooling and individual drive status LEDs to monitor drive activity at a glance.

Advantages

The unit maximizes space efficiency by integrating two full-height 2.5" hot-swap bays and a Slim/Ultra-Slim optical drive into a single 5.25" bay. All-metal construction and anti-vibration EZ-slide trays protect drives in mobile, airborne, shipboard, and other harsh environments. A user-configurable 40 mm cooling fan and ventilation holes help maintain optimal temperatures, while individual LEDs and locking SATA connectors provide clear status and reliable connections.

Suitable for

• Rackmount and industrial PCs
• Mobile computer systems and in-vehicle installations
• Military, medical, and avionics systems
• Workstations and servers requiring compact optical + 2.5" drive storage

How to use

Install the MB602SPO-B into a standard external 5.25" bay and secure it to the chassis. Insert 2.5" SSDs or HDDs into the EZ-slide trays and secure them using the provided screws or the tray latching mechanism. Mount a Slim (12.7 mm) or Ultra-Slim (9.5 mm) optical disk drive into the adapter bracket, using the labeled screw holes and included foam spacer if needed for a clean fit. Connect SATA data and power cables with the locking latches to ensure stable connections. Configure the 40 mm fan to high, low, or off depending on drive type and system cooling strategy.

Recommendations

For sustained mechanical HDD use, set the cooling fan to high and ensure adequate chassis airflow. Use the anti-vibration trays for mobile or high-vibration environments, and keep the included dust cover in place when the optical bay is not in use to prevent connector contamination.
