Καλώδιο USB-Y ShiverPeaks 77150 — 2× USB-A σε USB-B Mini (5 ακίδων) Καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας

The ShiverPeaks 77150 USB-Y cable is a dual-plug USB power and connection cable that combines two USB-A connectors into a single USB-B Mini 5‑pin plug. At 0.6 m length and compatible with USB 2.0, this cable is intended to deliver additional current from two host ports to a single device that uses a Mini-B 5‑pin input. It is suitable for devices that need extra power from multiple USB ports while maintaining a standard USB data/power interface.

Advantages

The Y-shaped design allows two USB-A ports to share current to support devices with higher power demands without requiring an external power adapter. Its USB 2.0 wiring ensures compatibility with a wide range of legacy peripherals that use the Mini-B 5‑pin connector. The compact 0.6 m length reduces cable clutter while providing enough reach for typical desktop and portable setups, and the straightforward plug-and-play connection eliminates the need for drivers or configuration.

Suitable for

• Portable external hard drives and optical drives that accept a Mini-B 5‑pin input and require extra current
• Audio interfaces and MIDI controllers with Mini-B 5‑pin power/data sockets
• Legacy devices and peripherals that use USB Mini-B 5‑pin connectors and benefit from dual-port power

Key specifications

• Cable type: USB-Y power/connection cable
• Connectors: 2 × USB-A (male) to 1 × USB-B Mini 5‑pin (male)
• USB standard: USB 2.0 compatibility
• Length: 0.6 m
• Function: combines power from two USB-A ports to provide increased current to a single Mini-B device

How to use

Insert the Mini-B 5‑pin plug into the device’s Mini-B power/data port. Then plug the two USB-A connectors into two separate USB host ports on a computer or powered USB hub. The cable routes power from both USB-A ports to the single Mini-B connector; data transfer operates according to the connected device’s USB 2.0 capabilities. No drivers or additional configuration are required for basic power delivery. For devices that draw data and power, ensure the host ports are active and provide sufficient current.

Recommendations

Use both USB-A connectors when the connected device requires more current than a single port can supply. Avoid using the cable with high-power devices that exceed typical USB 2.0 current limits; if the device still underperforms, consider a dedicated powered hub or an external power supply designed for the device.
