The ShiverPeaks BS13-67010 USB cable is a 0.5 m USB C to USB C lead compliant with USB4 Gen 3x2 specifications. Designed for modern devices with USB C ports, this grey cable supports up to 20 Gbit/s data transfer and features gold-plated contacts for stable electrical connection. Its compact length makes it suitable for desk setups, portable use, and short-distance connections between laptops, tablets, smartphones and compatible peripherals.

Advantages

This USB4 Gen 3x2 cable provides a high data throughput of up to 20 Gbit/s while maintaining the compact form factor of a 0.5 m lead. Gold-plated contacts improve contact stability and corrosion resistance to ensure consistent signal quality over time. The USB C to USB C design removes the need for adapters when connecting contemporary devices that use reversible connectors.

Suitable for

• Data transfer between laptops, tablets and smartphones with USB C ports
• Connecting external drives and NVMe enclosures supporting high-speed transfer
• Short-range connections on desks, portable workstations and docking setups
• Use with hubs, monitors and peripherals that accept USB C data input

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the USB C port of the host device and the other end to the target device or peripheral. Ensure both connected devices support the required USB4 Gen 3x2 capabilities to achieve maximum performance; otherwise the connection will negotiate to the highest mutually supported mode. Avoid sharp bends or excessive strain at the connector ends to preserve contact integrity and cable performance.

Recommendations

For reliable high-speed transfers, use the cable for short, direct connections and avoid chaining through low-quality adapters or hubs. Keep connectors clean and insert gently to maintain the gold-plated contact surfaces. When maximum throughput is required, verify that both devices’ ports and firmware support USB4 Gen 3x2 operation.
