Καλώδιο USB EFB Elektronik K5205.5 5 m USB 2.0 μαύρο

The EFB Elektronik K5205.5 is a 5 m USB 2.0 cable with USB A connectors on both ends, designed for wired data connections between computers and peripherals. It supports data transmission rates up to 480 Mbit/s, has a molded plug construction and a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket for improved safety in confined spaces. The cable uses AWG28/AWG24 conductors and features combined shielding (foil plus approximately 80% braided screen) to reduce interference.

Advantages

The cable provides USB 2.0 data speeds up to 480 Mbit/s and a robust shielded design (foil + ~80% braid) for reliable signal integrity. AWG28/AWG24 wire construction supports stable connections over the 5 m length, while molded plugs reduce strain at connector points. The LSZH jacket minimizes toxic and corrosive emissions in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations in enclosed or public areas.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers and scanners to PCs or docking stations
• Linking external hard drives and USB storage devices
• Data transfer and peripheral connections where a 5 m length is required
• Installations requiring low-smoke zero-halogen cable materials

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A
• Connector 2: USB A
• USB version: USB 2.0 (up to 480 Mbit/s)
• Cable length: 5 m
• Wire construction: AWG28 / AWG24
• Shielding: Foil + ~80% braided screen
• Plug: Molded
• Jacket: LSZH (Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one USB A plug to the host device (PC or hub) and the other USB A plug to the peripheral (printer, scanner, external drive). Ensure connectors are fully inserted to establish a secure data connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the 5 m cable run and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

Use the cable for USB 2.0 devices requiring up to 480 Mbit/s transfer rates. For long-term installations, route the cable without kinks, secure it to prevent movement at connector points, and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage. For USB 3.x devices requiring higher speeds, select a compatible USB 3.0/3.1 cable instead.
