This Delock USB adapter cable enables connection of devices with a USB Type A connector to a PC or notebook that has a USB Type C port, using an existing USB Type A cable. It can also be used to connect devices that have a USB Type A port to a computer with a USB Type C interface, making older peripherals compatible with newer USB-C only systems.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple, compact solution to bridge USB Type A peripherals and USB Type C hosts without replacing existing cables. It supports universal compatibility for a wide range of USB-A devices and preserves the original USB Type A cable and connector usage. The compact design is convenient for travel and easy storage.

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: Delock
• Purpose: Adapter cable to connect USB Type A devices to USB Type C ports
• Compatible connectors: USB Type A (device/cable) to USB Type C (host)
• Use case: Connects existing USB-A cables or devices to USB-C equipped PCs and notebooks

How to use

Connect the adapter to the USB Type C port on the PC or notebook, then plug the existing USB Type A cable or device into the adapter's USB Type A connector.
