Καλώδιο USB 3.2 Gen1 A σε B ProXtend USB3AB-0005, 5 m, USB 3.2 Gen1 (έως 5 Gbit/s)

ProXtend USB3AB-0005 is a 5 m USB 3.2 Gen1 A to B cable designed to connect computers and hosts to peripherals such as printers, scanners and external drives. The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen1 transfer rates up to 5 Gbps while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. At 5 metres, it offers extended reach for flexible workstation and device placement without relying on multiple adapters.

Advantages

The cable provides high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbps for large file moves and faster peripheral communication while maintaining compatibility with older USB standards. Its 5 m length reduces the need to reposition equipment and enables tidy routing across desks or between cabinets. The A to B connector pair is a standard interface for many printers, scanners and external storage devices, ensuring broad device compatibility.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to printers and scanners located away from the workstation
• Linking external hard drives or SSD enclosures to a host computer for data transfer and backups
• Setting up devices in offices, schools, labs or home workspaces where longer cable runs are needed

Key specifications

• Connector types: USB Type-A (host) to USB Type-B (device)
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen1, backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1
• Maximum theoretical data rate: up to 5 Gbps
• Cable length: 5 metres
• Typical use: data transfer between host and peripherals such as printers, scanners and external drives

How to use

Connect the USB Type-A plug to an available USB port on your computer or host device and insert the USB Type-B plug into the compatible port on the peripheral. Ensure both ends are fully seated to establish a secure data connection. For best performance, use a USB 3.2 Gen1 port on the host; when connected to a USB 2.0 or 1.1 port, transfer speeds will default to the lower standard. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or sharp kinks and keep it away from high-interference sources.

Recommendations

Use the cable indoors in a dry environment and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture. For sustained high-speed transfers, verify that both host and device ports support USB 3.2 Gen1. If you experience reduced speeds, check port compatibility, try a different USB port, and ensure device drivers are up to date.
