How to use

Locate the vehicle’s OBD-II port (commonly under the dashboard near the driver’s seat), then plug the Garmin power cable into the port and connect the USB A end to the compatible Garmin dash cam or its power adapter. Verify that the dash cam powers on and that parking mode or continuous recording functions are enabled in the device settings if needed. Follow the dash cam user manual for any device-specific configuration.

Recommendations

Use this cable only with compatible Garmin dash cams and on passenger vehicles with a standard OBD-II port. Do not use in commercial vehicles with a J1939 connector. If unsure about vehicle compatibility or installation, consult the vehicle manual or a professional installer to avoid electrical issues.
