The ShiverPeaks BS71231-8/4 0.15 m Black telephone cable is a short, flexible connection cable designed for reliable voice and data transmission between telephony equipment and network devices. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a compact 0.15 m length, the cable is suited to close-range connections where minimal slack and neat cable routing are important. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance for home or office installations while the construction is intended to deliver consistent signal integrity for everyday telephony and low-speed data tasks.

Advantages

This telephone cable combines a very short form factor with standard RJ-45 terminations to reduce clutter and avoid excess cabling in tight spaces. The durable outer sheath and solid connector housings help protect contacts from mechanical stress and repeated plugging. Its short length minimizes signal attenuation and crosstalk over the connection distance, providing stable performance for voice calls and short-distance data links.

Suitable for

• Connecting desk phones to wall jacks or patch panels in close proximity
• Linking small network devices where a short cable run is required
• Tidy cable routing behind furniture, workstations, and communication cabinets
• Temporary or permanent short-distance telephony connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 0.15 m
• Color: Black
• Application: Telephone and short-distance data connections
• Construction: Flexible jacket with molded connector ends

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding jack until it clicks into place. Use the cable to connect telephones, modems, or network devices located within 0.15 m of each other. Avoid excessive bending at the connector exit and do not place heavy objects on the cable to preserve connector alignment and jacket integrity. For removal, press the connector latch and gently withdraw the plug to prevent damage.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this short cable where minimal distance is required to avoid excess cable loops. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and sharp edges. If routing within furniture or racks, allow a small bend radius at ends and avoid kinking the jacket to maintain long-term reliability.
