Καλώδιο SAS DeLOCK 83643 1m

The DeLOCK 83643 is a 1 m Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) cable with Mini SAS SFF-8643 connectors on both ends. It provides a single-cable link between devices with Mini SAS HD interfaces, for example connecting a backplane populated with multiple hard drives to a controller. The cable is intended for server and storage environments where reliable data transfer and compact routing are required.

Advantages

The Mini SAS SFF-8643 to SFF-8643 construction offers a compact, standardized connection for high-density storage setups. At 1 metre length the cable balances reach and tidy cable management inside chassis or racks. Durable construction and compatible connector housing ensure consistent signal integrity between SAS devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting a backplane with multiple HDD/SSD bays to a SAS controller
• Internal server and storage array cabling
• High-density rack installations where Mini SAS HD interfaces are used

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: DELOCK
• Model/MPN: 83643

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or follow hot-swap guidelines of your hardware. Align the SFF-8643 connectors with the ports on the controller and backplane, then insert the connectors firmly until seated. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connectors. Power the devices and verify the controller recognises connected drives.

Recommendations

Use the cable within the specified length and avoid tight bends or kinks. For optimal performance in critical storage systems, pair the cable with compatible SAS controllers and backplanes and follow the hardware manufacturer’s installation and hot-swap procedures.
