How to use

Plug the female 5-pin XLR connector into the DMX output of the controller or splitter and the male 5-pin XLR into the DMX input of the fixture or receiving device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locked to secure the mechanical latch. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; use cable ties or clips to organize runs and prevent tripping hazards. For linking multiple devices, maintain correct DMX chain topology and terminate the final device with an appropriate DMX terminator if required.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium interconnections in live, studio or installation contexts. Inspect connectors periodically for wear, keep contacts clean and avoid exposing the cable to prolonged moisture or crushing loads. For long permanent runs or outdoor exposure, select cables and protective routing methods rated for those conditions.
