The equip® TOSLINK Optical SPDIF Digital Audio Cable (3.0 m) delivers clean, accurate digital audio transmission between devices using TOSLINK connectors. With polished optical lenses and gold-plated connector contacts, the cable is designed to minimize signal loss and interference while maintaining consistent sound quality. Its 3.0 m length and black finish make it suitable for home audio and AV setups where a reliable optical connection is required.

Advantages

The polished lens and gold-plated contacts support stable optical signal transfer and reduced connection degradation. The fully optical design eliminates electromagnetic interference common to copper cables, ensuring distortion-free digital audio. A 3.0 m length provides flexibility for typical home and AV installations, and the black colour blends with most equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers
• Linking CD players or digital audio sources to home stereo systems
• Use in home theatre and multimedia setups requiring SPDIF/TOSLINK optical connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: TOSLINK to TOSLINK (male)
• Cable length: 3.0 m
• Product colour: Black
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Brand: EQUIP, MPN: 147922, EAN: 4015867204900

How to use

Connect one TOSLINK plug to the optical output of the source device (for example TV, CD player, or media player) and the other plug to the optical input of the destination device (soundbar, AV receiver, or DAC). Ensure the optical ports are free of dust and align the connector carefully — TOSLINK plugs are keyed and fit in one orientation. Once connected, select the optical/SPDIF input in the receiving device’s settings or input selector to route audio via the cable.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy strain on the cable, keep the optical ports clean, and route the cable away from heat sources. If you experience no audio, check device input selection and ensure both devices support optical SPDIF output/input.
