Καλώδιο Patch S/FTP Cat.6a ROLINE 50 m γκρι

ROLINE S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6a ROLINE 50m Grey is a solid 50-metre network patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in office and home environments. The S/FTP construction (screened foil twisted pair with overall braid) offers enhanced shielding against electromagnetic interference, while moulded kink protection and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure durable and reliable connections. Contact assignment is 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard, making the cable suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and multimedia extensions over twisted pair.

Advantages

The cable combines complete braid shielding with individually foil-shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference. Solid 4-pair copper conductors provide stable signal transmission over the 50 m length. High-quality RJ-45 connectors feature moulded strain relief for durability and gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable meets Cat.6a requirements for enhanced bandwidth and performance.

Suitable for

• Network patching between switches, patch panels and devices
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) installations
• Multimedia signal extension over twisted pair (TP)
• Structured cabling in home and office networks

Key specifications

• Type: S/FTP patch cord (screened overall braid + foil-shielded pairs)
• Category: Cat.6a
• Length: 50 m
• Conductor: 4-pair solid copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 screened, gold-plated contacts
• Contact assignment: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Run the patch cord between network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or wall outlets. Insert the screened RJ-45 connector firmly into the device port until it clicks. Ensure the cable is not excessively bent near the moulded kink protection and avoid sharp bends to maintain signal integrity. For PoE devices, verify power requirements and compatibility before connecting.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid routing the cable alongside strong electrical power lines and maintain recommended bend radius. Terminate and test connections using appropriate network testers after installation to confirm continuity and performance.
