Καλώδιο patch οπτικών ινών ROLINE OM3 50/125µm LC/SC 0,5m

Fibre Optic Jumper Cable ROLINE OM3 50/125µm LC/SC 0.5m is a duplex multimode patch cable engineered for short-distance, high-speed optical connections. It uses 50/125µm OM3 fibres with LC and SC connectors, a compact movable-fibre construction and a turquoise PVC jacket for easy identification. The cable construction includes Kevlar for tension relief and a PVC outer coating, with a diameter of approximately 2.8 x 6 mm.

Advantages

The high-quality connectors and fibres combined with an optimized assembly process provide low insertion loss and low reflection, ensuring reliable signal transmission. The compact conductor design (fibre movable in secondary coating) improves flexibility and handling in dense cabling environments. Turquoise color simplifies cable management and identification in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections in data centers and server rooms
• Patch panels and network switches requiring LC–SC duplex connections
• Telecommunications and enterprise network backbones using OM3 multimode fibre

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode 50/125 µm, OM3
• Connector types: LC to SC (duplex)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Cable construction: Kevlar tension relief, PVC outer coating
• Cable diameter: approx. 2.8 x 6 mm
• Color: Turquoise

How to use

Route the jumper cable between the LC and SC ports ensuring connectors match the port keying and polarity required by your equipment. Insert connectors until they click into place and avoid excessive bending; adhere to the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibres. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to prevent damage to the ferrule.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep end faces clean and use appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connection. Avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; secure the cable with tie wraps or cable managers to prevent stress on connector ends.
