Καλώδιο patch οπτικών ινών, Digitus, DK-2512-02/3

FO patch cord, duplex, ST to SC, multimode OM3 (50/125 µ), 2 m. The Digitus Fiber Optic Patch Cord DK-2512-02/3 is a multimode OM3 cable with ST connector on one end and SC on the other, 2 metres long and a 50/125 µm core/cladding specification. It supports duplex transmission for reliable, high-speed data transfer in structured cabling and network equipment interconnects.

Advantages

The multimode OM3 construction ensures low attenuation and compatibility with 850 nm VCSEL-based transceivers. Duplex ST-to-SC termination provides easy integration with legacy ST ports and modern SC panels. The 2 m length suits short interconnects in racks or patch panels while maintaining signal integrity through standardized 50/125 µm fiber dimensions.

Suitable for

• Data center rack-to-patch-panel connections
• LAN and campus network fiber links
• Interconnecting switches, transceivers and optical equipment

How to use

Route the patch cord between the ST port and the SC port of the devices to be connected, avoiding sharp bends and pinch points. Secure the cable in cable management trays or clips to prevent strain on connectors. Verify correct duplex polarity when connecting transmit and receive ports to ensure proper two-way communication.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fiber patch cord in a clean environment, protect connector endfaces with dust caps when not in use, and clean endfaces before mating to maintain optimal optical performance.
