Καλώδιο Patch Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 μπλε 5m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable in blue, 5 m length, provides a shielded connection designed for stable high-speed data transmission in structured networks. This F/UTP (foil-screened, unshielded pair) cable reduces external electromagnetic interference while maintaining the performance characteristics of Category 6 cabling. Its 5-meter length and durable jacket make it suitable for linking switches, routers, patch panels and network ports in both home and office environments.

Advantages

The HP-FTP construction delivers improved protection against EMI and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting reliable throughput for applications that require consistent signal integrity. The cable meets Cat6 performance requirements for bandwidth and transfer rates over standard distances, and the molded connector boots help reduce strain at the plug ends. The blue jacket simplifies cable identification in multi-cable installations.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (Category 6)
• Shielding: F/UTP (overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 5 m
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors
• Jacket color: blue
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated (8P8C)
• Typical use temperature and flexibility suitable for indoor installations

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and the other plug to the device requiring network access. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; keep the jacket intact and avoid excessive pulling force during installation. For best performance, keep runs within recommended length limits for Category 6 connections and ensure connectors are fully seated in ports.

Recommendations

Use this HP-FTP Cat6 cable when you need a simple, color-identifiable, shielded patch lead for indoor network segments. Avoid running the cable in direct contact with high-voltage power lines or outdoor exposure without additional protection. For organized installations, combine with cable management accessories and test end-to-end connectivity after installation to verify expected network performance.
