Καλώδιο patch BlueOptics 470-ADBI MPO-MPO Multimode OM4 5 μέτρα μπλε

The BlueOptics 470-ADBI MPO-MPO Multimode OM4 5 Meter Blue patch cable is intended for high-speed short-range optical interconnections in data centers and enterprise networks. Featuring MPO connectors on both ends and OM4 multimode fiber, this 5 m cable is suited for aggregating parallel optical links and for use in 10G and 40G Ethernet applications. The blue jacket provides clear visual identification within cable bundles and racks while the construction focuses on reliable signal transmission and consistent performance in structured cabling systems.

Advantages

This multimode OM4 cable delivers increased bandwidth and lower modal dispersion compared with earlier multimode grades, supporting higher-density, high-speed transmissions. MPO-MPO connectivity reduces installation time for parallel optics and simplifies connections between patch panels, transceivers, and trunk assemblies. The 5 meter length balances reach and manageability in rack-to-rack or shelf-to-shelf links. The colored jacket and standardized connectors aid in organized cabling and easier maintenance.

Suitable for

• Short-range data center links and rack-to-rack connections
• 10 Gigabit and 40 Gigabit Ethernet parallel optic deployments
• High-density patch panels and MPO trunk system integration
• Environments requiring clear cable identification and structured cabling

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Connector type: MPO on both ends (MPO–MPO)
• Length: 5 meters
• Jacket color: Blue
• Application: Short-range, high-bandwidth optical links (suitable for 10G/40G)

How to use

Install the MPO-MPO patch cable by aligning the MPO connector keys with the mating adapter or transceiver receptacle and inserting until it seats firmly. Use the 5 m length for intra-rack or adjacent-rack connections to maintain neat cable management and minimize bend radius stress. Ensure both ends are clean before connection; use fiber cleaning tools or lint-free wipes with appropriate cleaning fluid to remove dust and contaminants. Verify link performance with appropriate test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Store and route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tensile force; follow manufacturer bend radius guidelines for multimode fiber. Match OM4 multimode fiber with compatible OM4-rated equipment and transceivers to achieve intended bandwidth and reach. For parallel optics, ensure correct polarity and connector orientation when connecting MPO arrays.
