καλώδιο patch BlueOptics 470-ABPD MPO-MPO πολυτροπικό OM4 5 m μπλε

The BlueOptics 470-ABPD MPO-MPO multimode OM4 patch cable, 5 m, is engineered for high-speed optical links in data center and enterprise network environments. Designed with MPO connectors on both ends, this multimode OM4 cable supports dense parallel transmission and provides low insertion loss for short- and medium-reach applications. The 5‑metre length offers installation flexibility while the blue jacket improves cable identification and routing in patch panels and cable trays.

Advantages

This MPO-MPO OM4 patch cable offers high bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibers, supporting reliable transmission for 10G, 40G and 100G aggregated links where MPO connectivity is required. The multimode construction and precision-terminated MPO connectors ensure consistent optical performance and straightforward deployment. The robust outer jacket protects the fiber from mechanical stress during installation and in crowded cable environments.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-reach aggregated links in data centers
• Patch panels and trunking between MPO-equipped switches or transceivers
• High-density fiber installations requiring OM4 performance
• Upgrade paths from lower multimode grades to OM4 for higher data rates

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Connector type: MPO to MPO
• Length: 5 metres
• Jacket colour: Blue
• Typical use: Data center and enterprise network interconnections

How to use

Route the MPO-MPO patch cable between MPO-equipped ports on patch panels, cassettes or active modules, ensuring minimum bend radius during installation. Align each MPO connector with the mating port and insert until the connector latch engages; verify secure seating and perform optical loss testing if required. For multi-fibre trunks, ensure correct polarity and orientation according to your cabling scheme before powering transceivers.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM4 cable to avoid exceedsing the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius and tensile load. Use appropriate labeling for the blue jacket to maintain clear identification in dense cable environments and perform end-to-end testing after installation to validate link performance.
