Καλώδιο patch ACT CAT5E F/UTP LSZH λεπτόκλωνο πράσινο 500 m

The ACT CAT5E F/UTP LSZH stranded patch cable is a 500 m green networking cable designed for data transmission in structured cabling installations. The cable uses stranded copper conductors and an ALU foil shield to reduce electromagnetic interference, while the LSZH jacket material limits smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire.

Advantages

This CAT5E F/UTP cable combines stranded copper conductors for flexibility with foil shielding (ALU) to minimise external interference. The LSZH jacket enhances safety in enclosed spaces by producing less smoke and harmful gases during combustion. The 500 m reel length and green colour simplify deployment and identification in network closets and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Ethernet networking up to CAT5E performance
• Patch panels and horizontal cable runs
• Installations requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cable jackets
• Environments where cable flexibility is preferred (stranded conductors)

Key specifications

• Cable length: 500 m
• Cable category: CAT5E F/UTP (foil screened, unshielded pairs)
• Conductor: stranded copper
• Pairs: Blue/White, Orange/White, Green/White, Brown/White
• Shielding: ALU foil
• Jacket material: LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen)
• Colour: Green

How to use

Run the cable from the network switch or patch panel to the destination port, following standard structured cabling practices. Terminate each pair on appropriate RJ45 connectors or patch panels according to the T568A or T568B wiring scheme. Ensure the foil shield is properly grounded where required to maximise screening effectiveness. Use the 500 m reel length as needed, cutting and preparing individual lengths for patching or permanent installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain separation from high-voltage power lines, avoid sharp bends and excessive pull tension during installation, and terminate cables using compatible connectors and tools. Use the LSZH variant in enclosed or public spaces where reduced smoke emission is important.
