Καλώδιο οθόνης ShiverPeaks S-VGA 78056-0.2, 2 × 15-πολικό θωρακισμένο, 0,2 m

ShiverPeaks S-VGA 78056-0.2 is a short, shielded monitor cable with two 15-pin male VGA connectors and a length of 0.2 m. It is designed for analog RGB signal transmission between computers, laptops, monitors and projectors where a compact, reliable connection is needed. The cable features shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and molded connector housings to improve mechanical robustness in confined setups.

Advantages

The cable’s compact 0.2 m length keeps connections tidy and minimizes excess cable in desk- or rack-mounted environments. Shielding provides basic EMI protection to maintain stable analog video signals, and the molded connector housings offer strain relief and protection against connector damage. The standard 15-pin VGA interface ensures broad compatibility with legacy display equipment and video output ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or desktop PCs to VGA monitors at short distance
• Linking computers to projectors in compact presentation setups
• Replacing or tidying existing short VGA patch connections behind screens or in media cabinets

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × 15-pin male VGA (analog)
• Length: 0.2 m
• Shielding: overall shield to reduce EMI
• Impedance: 75 Ohm characteristic impedance for video signals
• Connector housings: molded for strain relief and durability
• Color: black

How to use

Align each 15-pin connector with the corresponding VGA socket on the source device (PC or laptop) and the display device (monitor or projector). Insert the connectors gently and secure any thumbscrews if present to ensure a stable mechanical connection. Use the short 0.2 m cable for direct, close-proximity connections where long cable runs are unnecessary. Disconnect by loosening thumbscrews and pulling the molded housing rather than the cable itself to avoid stress on the terminations.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, avoid routing the cable alongside high-power mains cables or large bundles of data cables. Use this short cable when devices are positioned close together to minimize signal degradation that can occur with longer analog VGA runs. Inspect connector housings periodically for wear and ensure thumbscrews are secure to maintain a reliable connection.
