Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών Telegärtner L00819A0007 2 m ST

The Telegärtner L00819A0007 is a 2 m fibre optic cable with ST connectors assembled on one end, designed for reliable distribution and splicing of multifiber networks. The cable uses OS2 single-mode fiber with a 9 µm core and loose-buffered construction to enable efficient splice preparation and stripping up to 1 m in one step. Factory assembly ensures consistent optical and mechanical characteristics and low insertion loss and reflection when used in patch panels and splice boxes.

Advantages

Factory-assembled pigtails with ST connectors deliver stable optical performance and long service life thanks to controlled manufacturing and quality components. The loose-buffered fiber construction simplifies splice preparation and reduces handling time. As the pigtail connectors are supplied without additional strain relief, they integrate easily into patch panels and splice enclosures that provide environmental protection.

Suitable for

• Splicing and distribution of single-mode OS2 fibre networks
• Termination inside splice boxes and patch panels
• High-speed data transmission links requiring low insertion loss
• Network installations where 2 m cable length and ST connectors are required

Key specifications

• Brand: Telegärtner
• MPN: L00819A0007
• EAN: 4018359203825
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: ST (one end assembled)
• Fiber type: OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Cable design: loose-buffered fibre

How to use

Prepare the fibre for splicing by stripping the loose-buffered coating up to 1 m as required. Perform fusion or mechanical splicing according to standard procedures and secure the splice in an appropriate splice tray or box. Insert the ST connector into patch panels or adapters as needed; no additional factory-applied strain relief is provided, so use the enclosure’s strain relief features or cable management to protect the connection.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable carefully to prevent microbends and contamination. Clean connectors before mating, follow manufacturer guidelines for acceptable insertion loss and return loss, and use compatible splice enclosures and patch panels for environmental protection.
