Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ShiverPeaks S/CONN 3m LC/SC

The ShiverPeaks Fibre Optic Cable S/CONN 3m LC/SC is a 3-metre duplex patchcord designed for multimode networking environments. It uses OM2 multimode fiber with a 50 µm core diameter and LC and SC terminations to provide reliable full-duplex data transmission. The cable jacket is halogen-free, offering reduced toxic gas emissions in case of fire and meeting common safety requirements for installations in commercial and industrial buildings.

Advantages

This 3m fibre optic cable supports high-speed multimode links and delivers consistent signal quality over short to medium distances thanks to the OM2 50/125 µm core/cladding construction. The combination of LC and SC connectors provides compatibility with a wide range of network equipment, including switches, transceivers and patch panels. The halogen-free jacket improves fire safety and reduces corrosive residue compared to halogenated materials.

Suitable for

• Data centre horizontal and rack connections
• Office and enterprise network patching
• Linking multimode transceivers and SFP modules
• Structured cabling in commercial buildings

Key specifications

• Length: 3 metres duplex
• Fiber type: OM2 multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector A: LC (single-fiber ferrule)
• Connector B: SC (single-fiber ferrule)
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Jacket material: Halogen-free

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before connection. Align the LC and SC connectors with corresponding ports on network devices and insert until they click or seat firmly. Use one fibre of the duplex pair for each direction to maintain full-duplex operation. Avoid tight bends and do not exceed the minimum bend radius to prevent signal loss. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and pull straight out without twisting.

Recommendations

Store and route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; use cable management and labelled patch panels for easy identification. Clean connector endfaces with approved fiber cleaning tools before mating and follow manufacturer guidance for multimode links when integrating with transceivers or patch panels.
