Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ROLINE 21.15.9272 2 m LC πράσινο

The ROLINE 21.15.9272 2 m LC Green is an OM5 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for short to medium reach high-bandwidth links, this 2 m fibre cable supports modern data centre and enterprise networking requirements. The green jacket provides easy visual identification of OM5 multimode cabling in structured cabling environments, while the LC duplex connectors offer a compact footprint for high-density patch panels and transceivers.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre patch cable delivers low insertion loss and high return loss performance typical for quality multimode fiber, enabling stable transmission for applications requiring high data throughput. The 50 µm core multimode design supports wideband transmission and improved modal bandwidth compared with older multimode types, contributing to reduced signal degradation over short distances. The LC connectors ensure reliable mating with LC ports and are suitable for high-density installations due to their small form factor.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches, servers and transceivers
• Enterprise LAN backbone links and equipment interconnects
• High-speed short-reach multimode networks and storage area networks (SAN)
• Environments requiring OM5 colour-coded cabling for easy identification

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Connector type: LC duplex on both ends
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 2 m
• Jacket colour: Green (OM5 identification)
• Typical use: Short to medium reach high-bandwidth links

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or debris before connecting. Gently insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until the latch clicks, ensuring correct polarity for duplex links. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and secure it with cable management to prevent strain. For disconnection, press the LC latch and pull the connector straight out. Regularly check connector endfaces and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools to maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

Use this OM5 LC duplex cable for short-range high-bandwidth connections within racks and patch panels. Keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines, store connectors with protective caps when not in use, and perform endface inspection and cleaning during installation and maintenance to minimise insertion loss and ensure reliable link performance.
