Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ROLINE 21.15.9264 5m LC μωβ

The ROLINE 21.15.9264 5m LC Violet is an OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this 5-meter cable supports dense networking environments where minimal attenuation and reliable link performance are required. The violet jacket provides visual identification to simplify cable management in racks and patch panels.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers low insertion loss and consistent multimode performance suitable for short to medium reach links. The LC-to-LC connector pair delivers secure connections with a compact form factor, reducing port density consumption on switches and transceivers. The violet outer jacket enhances identification and organization, helping technicians quickly distinguish cable runs during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between switches and patch panels in data centers
• High-performance computing clusters and server connections
• Optical links for SAN, LAN, and virtualization environments
• Short- and medium-reach multimode applications in structured cabling

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Length: 5 m
• Jacket color: violet
• Typical use: multimode optical patching and point-to-point links

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or debris before connecting; clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Align the LC connectors with the equipment ports and insert until the latch clicks, ensuring duplex orientation matches transmit and receive pairs. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks, or tension; observe minimum bend radius recommendations for multimode fibre. For removal, press the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid stressing the fibre.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable in a clean environment, avoid exposing the connectors to contaminants, and use dust caps when connectors are not in use. For optimal performance in data center or enterprise networks, combine OM4 multimode cabling with compatible transceivers and follow vendor guidance on supported link distances and data rates.
