Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ROLINE 21.15.9261 1 m LC μωβ

The ROLINE 21.15.9261 1 m LC Violet is an OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for high-speed data links and short-to-medium distance connections within data centres, server rooms and telecom closets, this 1 metre cable provides consistent signal integrity and is colour-coded violet for simplified identification and cable management.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable supports higher bandwidth and improved modal dispersion characteristics compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, enabling reliable transmission for 10 Gigabit and higher applications over short distances. The LC duplex connectors provide a compact footprint suitable for high-density panels and active equipment. The violet jacket assists in quick visual sorting and reduces the chance of mispatching in complex installations.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack connections
• Server room short-run high-speed links (10GbE and up)
• Telecom equipment interconnects and MPO to LC consolidation
• Patch panels, transceivers and optical switches with LC ports

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC (duplex)
• Length: 1 metre
• Jacket colour: violet
• Typical application: short-range high-speed optical links

How to use

Route the cable between LC ports on patch panels, transceivers or network devices, ensuring the duplex orientation matches the transmit and receive ports on each end. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable with appropriate cable management to maintain the minimum bend radius specified for multimode fibre. Verify connections using a link test or by checking the operational status LEDs on connected hardware.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre ends with care to prevent contamination or damage; use dust caps when connectors are not in use and clean connectors with approved fibre cleaning tools prior to insertion. For optimal performance in high-density environments, label both ends and follow a consistent colour-coding scheme to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.
