Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ROLINE 21.15.8787 20 m LC κίτρινο

ROLINE 21.15.8787 is a 20 m single-mode fibre optic patch cable in OS2 quality with LC connectors on both ends. The cable has a 9 µm core diameter and supports full-duplex transmission for high-speed data transport. Its yellow jacket provides standard colour coding for easy identification in structured cabling and long-distance network links.

Advantages

The OS2 single-mode construction minimises attenuation over long distances, while LC connectors deliver a compact, reliable interface for network equipment. Full-duplex support allows simultaneous bidirectional data flow and the 20 m length suits inter-rack and campus links. The yellow outer sheath follows common industry colour conventions for single-mode cables.

Suitable for

• Long-distance network links between switches, routers and media converters
• Data centre interconnections and server rack cabling
• Telecommunications backbones and campus networks
• Environments requiring OS2 single-mode performance

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable for damage before installation. Align and insert LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on network devices until they click into place. Use careful cable routing to avoid sharp bends and maintain minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor. For full-duplex operation, ensure both ends are connected and device interfaces are configured accordingly.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and physical strain, keep connectors capped when not in use, and use labelled patch panels or cable management to maintain clear identification of the yellow single-mode link.
