Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ProXtend SC-SC UPC OM2 Duplex MM 7 m

The ProXtend SC-SC UPC OM2 Duplex MM 7M fiber cable provides full-duplex multimode transmission using a 50 µm glass core and SC connectors on both ends. Housed in a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket, the cable is designed for indoor network links in data centers, office LANs and other short-distance high-speed installations. It operates reliably within a temperature range from -20 °C to 70 °C.

Advantages

This ProXtend fiber cable supports duplex communication with UPC-polished SC connectors for low back reflection, and OM2 multimode fiber for dependable short-range throughput. The 50 µm core diameter and multimode design make it suitable for high-bandwidth links over moderate distances. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic fumes and corrosive gases in case of fire and is suitable for use in enclosed spaces.

Suitable for

• Short-range high-speed links in data centers
• Office LAN backbone and horizontal cabling
• Patch panels and network equipment interconnects with SC interfaces
• Multimode installations requiring 50 µm (OM2) fiber

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC — SC UPC (duplex)
• Fiber type: Multimode OM2, 50 µm core diameter
• Length: 7 m
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Temperature range: -20 °C to 70 °C
• Brand: ProXtend — MPN: FO-SCSCOM2D-007 — EAN: 5714590107883

How to use

Connect each SC connector to matching SC ports on networking devices or patch panels, ensuring proper alignment and secure engagement of the duplex connector pair. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress; follow standard multimode fiber handling practices to prevent end-face contamination or damage. Inspect and, if necessary, clean connector end-faces before making connections to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

Use this OM2 duplex SC-SC cable for indoor multimode links up to typical OM2 distance limits; keep bend radius above the manufacturer's minimum, avoid pulling beyond the specified tension, and store/operate within the -20 °C to 70 °C range. For long-haul or singlemode requirements, choose an appropriate singlemode cable instead.
