Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ProXtend LC-LC UPC OM3 Duplex MM 7M

The ProXtend LC-LC UPC OM3 Duplex MM 7M fiber cable is a 7-meter multimode patch cable with a 50 µm core diameter, designed for full duplex LC to LC connections. Encased in an LSZH jacket, it provides a transparent glass core for efficient high-speed, high-bandwidth data transmission over short to medium distances in local area networks.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode cable supports full duplex communication with LC to LC UPC connectors on both ends, ensuring low insertion loss and stable signal integrity for high-speed links. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket increases safety in confined spaces by reducing smoke and toxic gases in case of fire. The cable is factory-terminated and tested for predictable performance in multimode applications.

Suitable for

• Data center and telecom rack interconnects
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch multimode links
• High-speed LAN backbone and horizontal installations
• Short- to medium-distance multimode optical links

How to use

Route the LC-LC duplex cable between LC ports on networking equipment such as switches, transceivers, and patch panels. Align and insert the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports until they click. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating to minimize signal loss. When deploying, avoid tight bends and excessive tension to preserve fiber performance; follow standard fiber handling practices.

Recommendations

For best results, use this OM3 duplex cable in environments requiring multimode high-speed links and pair with matching OM3 transceivers. Keep connector end-faces clean using appropriate fiber cleaning tools and maintain bend radius greater than the manufacturer’s minimum to prevent attenuation or damage.
