Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών πολλαπλών λειτουργιών HPE Premier Flex LC/LC OM4 5 m

The HPE Premier Flex LC/LC OM4 multi-mode fibre optic cable (5 m) delivers high-speed, low-loss connectivity for data centers, campus networks and high-performance computing environments. Constructed with bendable fiber technology and OFC materials, this LC-to-LC cable is compatible with existing OM2 and OM3 installations while providing improved bend performance and signal-transmission integrity. It is suitable for LAN, WAN, SAN, metro and data-backup applications and supports InfiniBand workloads.

Advantages

PremierFlex uses new bendable fiber technology that reduces signal loss and sensitivity to tight bends, offering better performance than standard OM3 and OM2 multi-mode fibers. The cable’s construction and qualification across HP product lines help reduce downtime and troubleshooting, and its compatibility with OM2/OM3 infrastructures simplifies upgrades and integration.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server rooms
• High-performance computing and InfiniBand links
• Campus and metro network backbones
• LAN, WAN and SAN interconnects
• Data backup and replication links

How to use

Install the LC/LC cable by inserting each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on your transceivers, switches or patch panels. Route the cable along established cable trays or raceways, avoiding sharp edges and excessive tension. Leverage the improved bend tolerance when routing through tight spaces, but maintain proper cable management to ensure predictable optical performance and serviceability.

Recommendations

Use this HPE Premier Flex OM4 cable when upgrading or expanding multi-mode fibre connections where enhanced bend performance is required. Verify connector cleanliness before mating, follow manufacturer guidelines for patching and transceiver compatibility, and test links after installation to confirm expected bandwidth and loss characteristics.
