Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών METZ CONNECT 151J1JOJO10E 2x LC OM3 1 m aqua

The METZ CONNECT 151J1JOJO10E 2x LC OM3 1 m Aqua is a single-mode fibre optic patch cable designed for short-reach, high-density networking environments. This 1 metre fibre assembly uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and two LC connectors at each end, providing a compact connection solution for switches, patch panels and transceivers. The aqua-coloured jacket follows common industry colour coding for OM3 fibre and helps with quick visual identification in cabling installations.

Advantages

The fibre cable offers low insertion loss and consistent multimode performance suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances. Dual LC connectors provide a small form-factor interface for high-density ports and allow straightforward mating with LC duplex ports. The 1 m length reduces excess slack in racks and enclosures while the OM3 specification supports laser-optimized multimode transmissions for improved bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode fibres.

Suitable for

• Short-reach data centre connections and switch-to-switch links
• Patch panels and server cabinet internal cabling
• High-density networking equipment with LC duplex ports
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet multimode links within buildings

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: 2x LC to 2x LC (duplex)
• Cable length: 1 m
• Jacket colour: Aqua

How to use

Route the METZ CONNECT OM3 cable between compatible duplex LC ports on networking devices or patch panels. Align the LC connectors with the device receptacles and insert until a light click confirms secure engagement. Avoid tight bends near the connector ends and follow standard cable management practices to maintain bend radius and minimize attenuation. For use in high-density panels, label each end if required to preserve link identification.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Clean LC connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connection to reduce signal loss. Use the 1 m length where minimal slack is needed and choose aqua-coloured OM3 fibre for installations that follow multimode colour coding standards.
