Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O7413.5-1.2 5m 2x SC

The EFB Elektronik O7413.5-1.2 is a 5 m OM3 multimode fibre optic cable with SC connectors on both ends arranged for duplex transmission. The cable has a 50 µm core diameter and is designed for reliable high-speed data links in structured networks, data centers and telecommunication racks. The aqua jacket provides visual identification for OM3 multimode installations and complies with common patch-cord handling and routing requirements.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable supports full duplex communication and low attenuation over short to medium distances, enabling stable signal transfer for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links where multimode performance is required. SC terminations provide secure, push-pull mating with consistent connector alignment. The 5 m length balances flexibility and neat cable management in patching environments, while the aqua jacket simplifies identification and organization of multimode runs.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and switches in data centers
• Server-to-switch connections in local area networks
• Telecommunications racks and networking closets
• Short- to medium-range high-speed multimode links (e.g., 1G/10G)

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connectors: SC to SC, duplex
• Jacket color: aqua

How to use

Connect one SC connector end to the network device port and the matching SC connector to the corresponding port on the receiving device, ensuring correct orientation of the duplex pair. Avoid sharp bends and maintain the cable bend radius recommended for multimode fibres to prevent signal loss. Route the cable in cable management trays or along designated patching paths and secure with appropriate ties or clips to prevent strain on connectors. When unplugging, use the connector release mechanism—do not pull on the fibre jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector endfaces clean and inspect with a fibre scope before installation. Use dust caps when ports are not in use and replace damaged connectors or cables. Match OM3 multimode links with compatible transceivers and hardware supporting multimode optics to ensure expected data rates.
